dedicate to my beloved brother

As we grew up, my brothers acted like they didn't care,
but I always knew they looked out for me and were there!
~Catherine Pulsifer

A brother shares childhood memories and grown-up dreams. ~Author Unknown

It snowed last year too: I made a snowman and my brother knocked it down and I knocked my brother down and then we had tea. ~Dylan Thomas

sometimes, words just ain't enough to express my thoughts
pardon me, that my words and tears ain't enough to show i really care

i wish you would no longer in pains, and free from anxiety and worry
i wish you to know that you have always been a loving and protective big brother to me

disappointment

why must so many disappointments happened consecutively?

i hate this feeling...

you brought me up to the sky peeking through the cloud; caught a glimpse of the rainbow hidden behind...

and when i thought i could reach out my hands to feel the softness of the rainbow...

you let go of your grasp of me and at a swift of time before i know...

i fell to the ground unprepared hitting hard on the ground...

with bruises and wounds; and these are all the memories you left for me...

boys & girls

it's amazing how the trend has changed today...

i saw a few similar scenario a couple of days ago in the same place...

i saw 3 couples...and i saw the same behaviors...

scenario #1
a young husband and a young pregnant wife, with a toddle walked into a fast-food restaurant...and they were discussing what to order...then next i saw the wife carrying a big stomach walked to the counter to order the food. the husband, sat on there playing with his new-bought gadget.. (huh??)

scenario #2
in the same fast-food restaurant, i saw a couple (middle-aged husband and wife) who have just bought their food and locating a place to sit down...and what i saw was the husband browsing around for vacant table with his hands EMPTY...and followed behind was a petite wife carrying a tray of food....for the both of them... (how gentleman?)

scenario #3
same place...i saw a young couple who were about to leave the restaurant...and the guy pointed at the rubbish bin to the girl...and she was holding the tray with all the rubbish and leftovers in her hands... (huh? huh? huh?)...

conclusion:
is that the way to treat a woman? have the male species become weaker or the female species have grown stronger? i'm puzzled... am i still living in a box...??
