fellowship

It has been a busy schedule meeting up with friends and people for some fellowships. All of a sudden, I am overwhelmed with so much attention, heartfelt encouragements and listening ears.

I know my friends care much about me and they wanting to find out how well am I coping, I also know they want to see me in person to ease their minds so that they can be assured that I’m doing fine.

Hey, with all these well-intentional treatments, I’m really energized and flattered.

Glad to have these bunches of sweeties being around.

By chance, I came across a book shop and saw this line:

“Friends are like flowers; being there pretty to look at.

They bloom for you with its sweet fragrance.”

Thank God for these lovely flowers.

*** As I was typing my blog entry, my bro called and asked me to meet him at the void deck..so secretive. When I met him, he gave me a gift--an Armani watch ..without any reason. ***

what..a Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying "I love you."

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

FAITH > storm

This morning homily first reading gives me
an affirmation--Storms in life make us tougher but closer to our loved ones!

"Who shut within doors the sea,
when it burst forth from the womb;
when I made the clouds its garment
and thick darkness its swaddling bands?
When I set limits for it and fastened the bar of its door,

and said: Thus far shall you come but no farther,
and here shall your proud waves be stilled!"

Job 38: 8-11
(storms can never question faith)

I'm upbeat cos' those who are loving me, they are..

I'm hopeful and positive cos' those who are supporting me, they are..

I'm every minute blessed with thanksgiving cos' those who are sticking around me, are blessings to me.

I'll smile for you guys!

love you..

:)

烟火 sparkles

I'll be strong, I'll be fine :)

God mend torn hearts...

we met when the fireworks blew up in the sky;
in swift sparkles, fondness i felt as i gazed into your eyes;
our hearts connected and there was nothing we could hide;
and now…why oh why…you’ll never be mine.

remember the glisters dancing with great delight;
yellow, purple, blue, amber and sweet pure white;
i thought we could paint the sky together, u and i;
and now, why oh why…you can’t be mine.

you wrapped your arms around me so tight, so tight;
your fears, my dear, I know you were trying to hide;
i could hear your heart crying, oh please don’t deny;
and now, why..but don’t’ ask why…
you should never me mine.

we’ll watch the sparkles go down for tonight...
we’ll watch the sky turn into a black black night...
but, my dear, you’ll know...
some day...you’ll know why you were never be mine.

and please know it hurts me too...you're only sparkles in my life..

Love

Let's talk about Love.. :)

Oh well..erhem..love.. (It's seem like a heavy word to utter out)

I’m not seeing anyone right now, and I have no intention to seeing anyone..and perhaps, never for the future. :)

I'm not playing with love; and am not playing with anyone with love.

In fact, I believe strongly in love, I never doubt it before.

The story in the Garden of Eden is a beautiful one. How God sympathize the lonely Adam and thought it was no good for Adam to be alone. And so when Adam fell asleep, God removed one of Adam’s rib and from that rib created Eve..to keep Adam’s company. The missing rib—it became a partner, a soul-mate, a someone, who breathe the same air as Adam. Adam was being created as a leader, he was given the authority and responsibility to love and protect Eve. Eve was being created as a subordinate; she was given the role to support and nurture Adam. This is a mandate that no one could change the game; Adam played the masculine role and Eve played the feminine role, there was no superiority or inferiority set of rules.. Such beautiful combination..Eve was made from Adam’s rib. They belonged to each other, they were ONE.

Somewhere out there; there’s a girl belongs to a guy..to complete his missing rib..

I'm not fit to be in love; I'm afraid one day if I am being taken away to another world; he would be left lonely and broken..the thought of it sadden me.. :(

And so, I love him is to set him free, I hope he has not even had known me.. One day, he would find someone, who could fit into his missing rib...live happily ever after with her.. :)

He would always have someone besides him when he is lonely;
He would always have someone to support him when he needed it;
He would always have someone gives him the best of attention;
He would always be with her for she will never leave him..

I would be happy for him, truly :)

Love is?

"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."

Go free.

Fear

The fear is daunting on me again.

Images flashed back on my mind..

I watched her ailing body turned weaker and fragile each day; not be able to move freely by her own — she looked so helpless, so needy, it ache my heart each time I watched her.

Some days, she would be in coma and I would whisper into her ears my heartfelt words as I believed she could hear me in her ‘sleep’, and sadly that was the moment, I would only plucked up the courage to say those words — how much I love her.

When the doctor started to give her a stronger dosage of morphine to ease her pain, the effect of hallucination got into her mind..and in some days, she couldn’t recognize some of us – that was sad.. she couldn’t even recognize the children she loved dearly.

I remember I walked along the long passage way to enter into the huge white building where I practically visited every day; and stayed at least 4 hours each day..it had been my second home then..I patronized the canteen regularly, basically I had at least one meal at the canteen every single day..all in all..this repeated for a long four-month.

Weekends, I would be very conscious and paranoid when I gone out with friends for I would regularly check my cell phone—for any missed calls, and messages..to prepare to rush back to the white building in a swift.. in case I missed out the crucial moment.

Being there in the nights was depressive; and when it entered into midnight, it was the most busier time for the nurses...for loneliness kept the fearful awake; didn’t want to get to sleep (fearing that they might not woke up any more).. They called for attention..any excuses that they could make up..hungry; needed some snacks, pains; needed treatment, nature call; needed help to the toilet..all kinds--anything that could keep the nurses busy..and to keep them awake..

I would pet her and made her to sleep comfortably (reversed the role of a mother petting a child to sleep)..but she would hold my hand and said she feared she might not wake up again.. I caressed her skin..the layer of her skin was so thin; layers peeling off due the effect of numerous needles poked on her..gradually, her veins were no longer firmed to take on the needles. I would beg the nurse not to peel of the plaster on her skin as it might tear her skin..but the nurse would tear it off quickly when I wasn’t noticed..feared that I would cry..

I couldn’t remember how many times I tried very hard to control my tears when I was there in the four-bedded room. I told myself I mustn’t let my weakness to affect the morale of the bedridden ones. I forced out a smile, but the events happened each day tattered my spirit..kept it hard for me to sustain my faith..my hope..

A little girl was admitted there, she looked so young and innocent, but she would always carried a smile on her angelic face..I didn’t ask her why, but I guessed she didn’t want her parents to worry about her. Occasionally, I would faintly hear her telling her parents to go back home to rest. She would read books when she was alone..she couldn’t walk..cos one of her legs had been amputated…she wore a hat every time..to cover her barded head..

One night, I heard a lady talking to her husband over the telephone...but soon she yelled and hung up the phone..and cried uncontrollably.. I walked to her to console her..she told me how agony she felt to see her husband having to work three part-time jobs to maintain her medical fees..how he would sacrifice his sleeping time to bring her her favorite food every day..seeing him lacking of sleep and rest..looking listless each day devastated her immensely. I felt the true love they both shared..at the same time..I felt the pains for the both of them..

Some days, I heard weeping noise from the corridor outside—someone was passing away—family members giving their last words…it got my heart sunk to the lowest..my heart gone out for them.

Today I might see a familiar face looking good lying on the bed; the next day the color of the face might turn pale in deep sleep; and another day came, it was no longer the similar face lying on that same bed..

Four months of seeing the cycle of life and death...made me grown up rather quickly..in a painful way..it got me stronger..I had no choice..I had to be strong..

Now, I need Hope, SO MUCH, SO MUCH that I would wish Hope could combat my fear; Love would heal my fear; Grace would subside my fear, Prayers would destroy my fear..

I need a ray of light, a hope—all I wish.

I want him to be well and healthy. I hope much.

see Me

to see myself through my own eyes is not easy..we tend to hide away from our self-image..sometimes, not even dare to face it..
that's sad..
face myself, honestly..

Home

I got this stain glass painting in Melbourne some years back.

What attracted me was the serenity of gazing at the three houses in a row.

Home.

..it's my refuge..

a place i know where i will be forgiven even if i make the biggest mistake..

a place where i will find genuine and unconditional love..

a place where i built my roots here..

a place where it's always cozy..

a place where i can be relax and be myself..

I've been neglecting my home for a while..

I've yet to stop and look at the faces around me..

I've yet to question and ask how are they getting on..

Home.

..now, my home and family needs my attention and time.

..and my present moment will be focused on my Home, my Family.
