Sometimes I wonder what life is supposed to be? Don't get me wrong, I'm not feeling EMO tonight. But I'm really glad that I'm able to sit down and dream a little tonight; or even let my mind goes blank (It had been a taxing and power work-filled week!) And so, I question about Life!..I'm kind of being philosophical tonight...
Life is not supposed to be a passing time...No! No! I forbid myself to take LIFE with such irresponsible attitude. Life is supposed to be a living journey, shared moments with people and our loved ones and it is a growing process. It has to be progressing...No! No! I don't mean monetary rewards and social status. We ought to grow and self-actualise, at least be a more self-reliance person as time goes by. And NOT self-sufficient!!!
I pity those people who claimed that they are self-sufficient; who don't need anyone and anything. And being self-sufficient is a state of coward mentality. No one on this earth doesn't need anybody. As a matter of fact, everyone needs someone; anyone couldn't need no-one...read between the lines.
And self-reliance is a growing process; we learn to rely on our own when life puts us in trials and tests our patience; at this juncture, we profess our strength...and we learn to overcome the hurdle...and we grow and progress...
Being EMO...or emotional is not an inferior state of mind. Being able to feel what you felt and acknowledge what you felt is a glorious victory...The reason is simple...because we are humans and we take the rights of feeling HUMAN. But why do we hide our feelings and camoflague our innermost? Why stifle YOU?
Love oneself is noble...No! No! It's not selfish...it's definitely not narcassitic too. Loving oneself is opening avenue to love others. How do you embrace others if you don't even know how to embrace your own self? Do you love yourself enough...Have you love yourself lately? Love yourself deeply and you will not want to miss Love.
Strange...when love exists...forgiveness seems to follow...maybe both of them are friends...or allies who compliment each other. But I must say, they make a great pair...
Just a little thought of the night; when quietness sets in and my mind is at ease...but my heart is feeling something...nothing affectionate or what...but I'm so glad I'd been through the journey...and now embark on another route learning to make friend with the latter...
This life is such a detour...is exciting though...and be ready when paths are crossed...
